Weingut Hoflößnitz from Radebeul/Saxony-Germany. Dry, 2019

The Schieler (Rotling) describes a wine which is a blend of red and white grapes. These may already be mashed in when blended, but must be pressed together.

He inspires with bright raspberry pink reflections. With its strong fruit aroma of strawberries and wild berries, the Schieler has a harmonious and juicy acid structure on the palate. The Rotling originated in Saxony, where it is also known as Schieler.

The Radebeuler Lößnitz in the wine-growing region of Saxony - the north-eastern part of Europe - forms the center of the Saxon Wine Route. The once electoral winery at the foot of the Loessnitz slopes can look back on more than 600 years of history.
