Goldriesling "Winzergenossenschaft Meissen" - dry 2020

The Goldriesling is considered a Saxon specialty, which is mainly cultivated in the Elbe valley; Loess loam and granite give the wine fruit and a distinctive minerality.

It presents itself in the glass with a fruity bouquet of banana, pink grapefruit and a fine note of citrus. This is accompanied by a fine spiciness and a fresh acid structure.

The Meissen wine cooperative: Founded in 1938, the Meissen winegrowers' cooperative now has 1,500 members and, as the largest winery in Saxony, cultivates around 50 percent of the entire area under cultivation in Saxony.
