Handle mug "Swan Service"
Of the white "handle cups" is part of the famous "Swan Service" by Johann Joachim Kaendler. From 1737-1741 he developed the over 2,200 pieces of ceremonial service. For the pair of swans, which can be found on every piece of the "Swan Service", Kaendler was inspired by his nature studies in the residential city of Dresden. The "Swan Service" mug with handle takes up the motif of water in its detailed relief. This emphasizes the plasticity of the high-quality Meissen porcelain and bears witness to the high craftsmanship the Meissen artist. The simple but elegant white of the mug with a handle emphasizes the filigree figures and deliberately puts them in focus. The mug with handle brings baroque splendor to the modern table and is therefore a really unusual gift.
