Goldriesling "Winzergenossenschaft Meissen" - dry 2020
The Goldriesling is considered a Saxon specialty, which is mainly cultivated in the Elbe valley; Loess loam and granite give the wine fruit and a distinctive minerality.
It presents itself in the glass with a fruity bouquet of banana, pink grapefruit and a fine note of citrus. This is accompanied by a fine spiciness and a fresh acid structure.
The Meissen wine cooperative: Founded in 1938, the Meissen winegrowers' cooperative now has 1,500 members and, as the largest winery in Saxony, cultivates around 50 percent of the entire area under cultivation in Saxony.
As an aperitif, with a fresh salad, with light pasta dishes, steamed fish or simply after a day on the terrace
